3rd Holborn Brownies – A Really Wild Day in the Bush
3rd Holborn Brownies, from the St Pancras Division of London North West County Girlguiding, had tremendous fun learning lots of skills at GirlGuiding LaSER’s Growing Up Wild – Really Wild Day In the Bush at Cudham Shaws on Sunday 25 September 2016.
The Brownies learnt how to build a shelter, carry water using only a piece of paper (the Guides showed them how to turn it into a cup!), how to make the strongest of string from nettles and many more activities including, every Girlguiding member’s favourite, s’mores!
The day was definitely worth the drive from London, and Frankie (7) said it was the best day she has had “EVER”!
Thank you to Girlguiding LaSER for organising the event and to the Guides for running it. 3rd Holborn Brownies are now wearing their Paw Print badge with pride.
